Whole world knows that cancer is a deadly disease but the actual pain and agony of it can truly be understood by the one who has personally experienced it. Seven years old girl from Scotland was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer.

Olivia Downie was too young to understand as to what is happening to her body. Her parents did their best by starting the treatment as soon as possible. As she was young, her body couldn’t take the dosage of the treatment. Today, she is living with the help of support machine.

There are many children all over the world affected with some sort of cancer. Still, awareness about cancer is lacking significantly. Those willing to support cancer patients can either raise funds or help in bringing awareness among people.

It has come to light that on an average, two children every day are diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer. Majority of the children affected with it experiences relapse. Once the cancer turns aggressive, it becomes almost impossible to save the child.

The story of Olivia Downie has touched many lives. Within one week, £150,000 was raised to help the girl in overcoming the cancer. But, it seems like the efforts of people have gone in vein as the girl has been put on ventilation.
