EPA’s New Emissions Standards get Support of 2 Million

U. S.’s Environmental Protection Agency has set new carbon standards and it seems that the agency has taken the best step to serve the environment and the suffering climate.

In its statement of Thursday, the conservation groups said that they have received the support of almost 2 million people as they all have commented their favor for the decision.

From 2 million, 50,000 comments have come from Coloradans showing the biggest support to the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency’s new carbon standards.

The agency for the first time has received such a big number of comments in support of an issue. In support of same, a big population of nurses, religious leaders, elected officials and activists came together and showed their support outside the EPA’s regional headquarters in Denver on Thursday.

“We already knew that Americans strongly support the EPA’s efforts to address climate change and to reduce dangerous air pollution that threatens the health and safety of our children, communities, and wildlife”, revealed in a joint statement from Environment Colorado, Colorado Conservation Voters and the National Wildlife Federation.

The above decision follows the recommendations of doctors, scientists and other experts, who also recommend that the carbon pollution must be controlled immediately as it severely threatens our health and life.
