1. Space Missions Completes: Another mission to the International Space Station completes with the safe landing of the Soyuz space capsule that landed successfully on Sunday on the southern steppes of Kazakhstan. The three-man multinational crew with NASA astronaut Mr. Donald Pettit, Russia's Mr. Oleg Kononenko and Dutchman Mr. Andre Kuipers completes its 193-day mission to the International Space Station.

2. Reopening of a Nuclear power: Sunday reopened one nuclear power plant after the shutdown was made of all the plants in the state for safety checks. Fukushima nuclear disaster was horrifying and so the public protested in Tokyo and in front of the gate of Ohi nuclear plant's reactor No. 3, which was re-operated despite a deep division in public opinion.

3. Diplomacy News: Israel's president and prime minister have congratulated Egypt's new Islamist president over his election victory. All the neighboring countries are calling for continued peace.

4. Drone attack: Eight militants were killed when U. S. missiles were fired from a drone in a Pakistani tribal region in North Waziristan near the Afghan border. The attacks have stressed the both the United States and Pakistan.

5. Deadly floods in India: Monsoon rains in northeastern India have flooded many regions severely taking the toll of deaths to at least 62, and 2,000+ villages devastated.
