A recent report revealed about a free app which was unveiled by the American Lung Association to provide updates about the level of ozone and other particulate pollution in the atmosphere. In the name of State of the Air, the application has the tenacity of tracking down pollutants in the environment. "More than 127 million people live... where there are dangerous levels of ozone and particulate pollution, which are the two key pollutants that we address in our new smartphone app”, confirmed Carrie Martin Munk, a former employee of the American Lung Association.
There is a need to take an example from such moves which are for the betterment of one and all. It is known that particulates found in the environment can affect the health of people to a significant level and that’s what has med the application all the more special.
Apart from indicating the pollutant levels, it also sent alarming signals on the basis of Air Quality Index (AQI), which helps one knowing if outdoor environment is safe enough to go outside. There are expectations that those who are asthmatic or are suffering from any kind of allergy would be able to make sound judgment whether or not, they should move out.
