In a collaborative effort, the researchers of the UK, the US and of India have been studying solar activities to better understand the solar storms. “Coronal loop” is one of the subjects which are being studied by the researchers.

The team of researchers is of the view that their efforts would help in better understanding the solar storms. Moreover, it is hoped that the researchers would be able to predict the time of next solar storm through magnetic force.

Rapidly changing climates have forced the researchers to believe in the extreme space storm, which might take place at any moment. Solar storms took place because of several reasons. However, the main two reasons behind it are solar flares and coronal mass ejections. The solar flares and coronal mass ejections are the extreme heat energies released by the hot surface of Sun.

Extreme solar storms can cause huge loss to the world. The goal of the team of researchers is to predict the extreme solar storm so that timely precautions could be taken to save the world from the massive destruction. It has been informed that the activities of solar storm would be in its peak.
