In a recent report, it has been confirmed that a three-year-old burn victim has finally got discharged from the Netcare Garden City Hospital in Auckland Park. However, Isabella Kruger, nicknamed Pippie, would not be able to go home as she would be sent to the Netcare Rehabilitation Centre in Auckland Park.
It was in the month of December that she suffered from burns. She had even gone through a never-heard-before skin surgery which made her a lot better. She has made an unexpected recovery which has even surprised doctors too. "Pippie's wounds are nice and clean, and there are many areas where the skin grafting has closed and thickened up completely", said Plastic surgeon, Dr. Ridwan Mia, while confirming that she had even started eating solid food last month.
The girl even had a soothing bath yesterday where she could actually feel her new life. Her muscles are said to be gaining the momentum. She would be at the rehabilitation clinic, where she would be put through physiotherapy to make her stronger. There will be many kids around here there, which would surely make her live a life of a kid unlike in the hospital where she was surrounded by patients.
