In order to make sure that patients are able to access quality care and that without any kind of threat, the California Medical Association has filed suit against health insurance company Aetna Inc.

The association consists of more than 60 doctors and is considered to be the biggest medical association of California. Not only the association members, but other three county medical groups and four operation centers and patients have also united hands with the association to teach a lesson to the insurance company, which is the third largest medical insurance company in the country.

Main issue to file a complaint is that the health insurance company threatens medical officials to recommend patients to get a health insurance from their company. It has been found that the insurance company has also cancelled the contracts of some of the physicians, who have ignored their warning.

"These contract dispute tensions will intensify in the next few years as the new Affordable Care Act regulations force insurers to keep a tighter rein on their networks", said Shana Alex Lavarreda, who is the director of health insurance studies at the UCLA. Experts are of the view that patients will be at the suffering end.
