Controlling weight and obesity would now be easy as scientists are working towards finding a jab which could use immune system for warding off the fat cells. The jabs thus introduced would allow the people to consume as much junk food as they want.

An experimental jab has been found, which has also been tested over mice. During the experiment, the mice were fed with lots of fatty food. Later on, they were given the jabs. It was found that the mice lost 10% of their body weight. However, it was also found that intake of jab increased the appetite of the mice.

The jab uses immune system for reducing body weight. Further studies are required to be conducted over the jab so that its other side effects like increased appetite could be gauged. The jab is not ready for humans yet.

It is hoped that the researchers would be able to find a better and effective treatment for obesity. Overweight and obesity are deemed to be dangerous as previous studies have linked them to life threatening diseases like cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and cancer. The people are required to maintain healthy diet plans to beat obesity and overweight.
