In the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, today, an important study has been published that talks about the relationship between the fertility drugs and risk of breast cancer. Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the mind and support behind it.

A strange but real fact has been discovered in this study. Though it has not been confirmed but the investigations are still on.

It says that the fertility drugs that are used to make a woman pregnant sometimes can give birth to the risk of developing breast cancer.

Scientists have found a possible link between the hormonal changes that take place after taking such fertility drugs and those caught up in breast cancer. This has possible make the use of fertility drugs a major concern for them.

Different studies have been conducted to find the actual relationship between these two different aspects. It is strange to found that these studies show varied results. According to some, the risk of cancer slows down by taking these pills; some states, the same increases and according to rest there is no connection between fertility drugs and breast cancer.

However, the researchers at the National Institutes of Health have discovered that such drugs seem to reduce the risk of breast cancer in young women, whereas once they become pregnant, the same goes up.
