Maintain a Food Journal To Shed Extra Flab

While there is no doubt on the way obesity is spreading around the world, a recent research has showed that maintaining a food journal so as to track down the calorie intake could make a hell lot of difference in shedding extra flab.

It has been claimed by a team at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle that those who track down their food intake are more likely to lose weight as compared to those who just gorge on anything served. Small changes in lifestyle can make a hell of difference and that’s what needs to be kept in mind.

During the year-long research, it has been found that women who maintained logs of their food intake were able to shed some .7 kilograms more than those who didn't have the log. "For individuals who are trying to lose weight, the number one piece of advice based on these study results would be to keep a food journal to help meet daily calorie goals”, said Anne McTiernan, the Director of the Hutchinson Center's Prevention Center, who was leading the study, while asserting that keeping a close look on what one is eating could make a significant difference in the process of shedding kilos.
