Vicky McClure Walks for Alzheimer’s Sufferers

As per a recent report, Vicky McClure, the popular actress from Nottingham, was spotted yesterday at Victoria Embankment asking people to come forward and do their bit to help dementia patients.

The actress is aimed at raising funds for such people with cognitive disabilities and has thus, organized a Walk for them. It has been found that the Nottingham Memory Walk is held each year in the region and this would be the third walk.

The 29-year-old Bafta-award winner is leading the walk this time too, for which she was trying gather each and every passer-by at the place. She had for the first time cut the ribbon last year at the embankment, following which she is deeply engaged working for the charity.

It is being said that the race starting from the Victoria Embankment, ends at the River Trent. While previously, some 200 people had participated in the same, event organizers, including the Alzheimer's Society, hope to see over
400 people signing up this year.

The walk would begin this Sunday i. e. September 23. “The buzz at last year's Memory Walk was wicked, and people should just take a day out to support people, making the day as positive and uplifting as possible", said Vicky.
