A new treatment is going to be tested for people who have suffering from drug and alcohol addiction in Teyside and other places. All the sufferers will be sent for sea voyage for three months.
The trip has been organized by Pheonix Futures and Tectona Trust, which has the aim to see the effect of sea voyage on people, who have been addicted to alcohol and drugs. The 80ft boast named as the Gaff Ketch Techona will take off from Plymouth on August 1.
It will then go to other places, like Liverpool, Glasgow, North Shields, and London, and will again come back to Plymouth on October 24. The trust has partnered with Plymouth University, so that researchers from the University will be able to study the effect of sea voyage on people.
Darren Long was the one who has the idea of sea voyage. He was of the view, “The voyage will be a life-changing opportunity for those people taking part. I know it will also be a symbol of hope for people”.
A lot of effort has been put in to organize the event, as the ship for the event was selected after visiting many places for the same, said the organizers of the event.
In order to ensure that prostitution or escort services are not promoted through social network, novel rules have been updated by the industry. They have taken out such policies, which warn users to not create profiles that indulge in above mentioned activities.
