Exchange of Explicit Text Messages is Normal among Youngsters

It may sound little obnoxious, but it is true that sending explicit messages among youngsters is a common trend these days. A research being taken out by a group of researchers from the University of Michigan has been revealed that sending explicit pictures, messages and videos through phone, is not a big deal for young generation today.

The trend may raise concern about psychological problems in regard to sex. However, the study researchers were of the view that they have not found any such risk during their research. In order to reach at the above given result, the study researchers assessed 3,447 boys and girls, who were aged between 18 and 24.

Certain questions were asked from them in regard to their sex messaging sending and receiving patterns, said Jose Bauermeister, who is the co-author of the study, and has been positioned at the UM School of Public Health.

After assessing them, the study researchers reached at a conclusion that public perception and their study findings were totally opposite. On one hand, where people think that sending such messages is abnormal, the study has quite a different view, which is it is quite normal part of youngsters life.
