Latest operating system, Mountain Lion, launched by ‘Apple Makes History’. The company states that within the first four days after its launch, as many as 3 million copies have been downloaded by Mac users.
Further, the company has added that this has been the quickest launch of any of their operating system ever. The OS was launched Wednesday.
It has been reported that the company has marked the price for the software as USD 20. However, in case of users who bought Mac on or after June 11, the OS can be downloaded for free.
The OS is discovered to have provided Mac users with the same features as that supported by iPhone and iPad. Moreover, the OS links the users to the Apple's online storage service, iCloud and also supports Notification dialogue box, which sends alert regarding incoming mails or pops up with reminders and other events.
The company said, “One of the new features in OS X Mountain Lion is the new AirPlay Mirroring feature. AirPlay Mirroring makes it easy to give presentations, watch Flash videos or show off photos on a TV”.
Moreover, one of the most distinguishing features that aren’t mentioned about the new AirPlay is that they can easily send audio clips from Mac to another device supporting the feature.
