It is being concluded after revelations by some studies that California’s risks of going through adverse situations because of climatic changes would not reduce even in the upcoming years, as per a recent report.
As per the studies, the state would see even worse conditions with the rise in temperatures and warming of Earth being anticipated by experts. It is being said that the coming decade could see more scorching heat waves along with strain on the electric grid and severe wildfires. And all the same would cause already fighting 37 million people of the state to go for ACs.
Concerned regarding the same, the California Energy Commission in collaboration with the California Natural Resources Agency had conducted a study dubbed "Our Changing Climate 2012”. The aim of the review was to make people aware and alert that it time now be prepared for expected changes.
Since, sources say, "The demand for electricity will increase as households operate existing air conditioners more frequently, and in many regions will install air conditioners where there currently are few”.
