Thousands of Medical Graduates Join Hospitals

A lot was being said that a lot many deaths take place due to junior doctors. It was also being said that they should be trained under senior doctors, so they could get familiar to the place where they have to work. Finally, the day has arrived when thousands of graduates will start working as junior doctors at different hospitals in the country.

Experts were of the view that it would not be wrong to say that today is a 'black Wednesday' or the `killing season' has arrived. They further affirmed that from last many years, they have been seeing that when junior doctors start working then a lot many incidents take place at hospitals.

A four day training session, which is said to give some respite is also said to be a temporary solution to the problem, by the experts. However, it has been found that training has reduced incidents by 50% in Bristol.

"In a bid to counteract this "killing season" the Department of Health has prescribed targeted training to better prepare trainees for the reality of life on the wards ", said Gayna Hart , who is managing director of Quicksilva. It is expected that things will improve this time.
