Woman Swallows Knife for the second time

The news that is going to unfold now will make you think twice that whether laughter is the best therapy or not. As per news that got unveiled through the medium of the New England Journal of Medicine, it has been revealed that a woman swallowed a butter knife.

The woman, who belonged to Atlanta, was of the view that she was holding the knife in a downward direction to show her friends that she no more suffers from a gag reflex. At the same time, one of her friend’s made her laugh and the butter knife slipped into her esophagus.

She started suffering from blood vomiting, and started having pain in her stomach. Doctors found the utensil in her esophagus, and they were able to remove the same safely.

It also got revealed that it is not the first time when such thing has happened. Her husband revealed that something similar to this happened some four years ago as well. However, that time, it was a sharp kitchen knife, which was removed surgically.

Experts were of the view that if such thing happens with them then they should not take them lightly, and should urgently visit doctor and take professional help.
