A New Cancer Care Hospital in Zimbabwe

A New Cancer Care Hospital in Zimbabwe

A new and advanced Cancer Hospital has been set by the Zambian Government at the University Teaching Hospital. As said by Zimbabwe’s First Lady Grace Mugabe, the technology that has been used in this hospital for serving numerous cancer patients is quite impressing and it seems that from now onwards, a large number of cancer sufferers would be effectively helped to fight against this lethal disease. She is happy with the progress that has been made by the Zambian Government.

Mrs. Mugabe visited the Cancer Hospital with Dr Christine Kaseba, her Zambian colleague, and after analyzing the facilities available there, said that it would allow a lot of people to get properly screened on time. Immediate treatment will be given and many lives would be saved.

She added “I must say I am impressed with Government’s initiative to set up a cancer hospital because it will allow our women to get immediate attention. It might not be enough but it will help go a long way”.

This cancer hospital will soon become one of the biggest centers for offering treatment against cancer not only to women in Africa but on the entire continent.

Keeping this in mind, Mrs. Mugabe also requested the Zambian Government to ensure that there exist highly efficient manpower and sufficient funds to run and control the institution.
