As per reports, it has been revealed that Sierra Nevada Corp. (SNC) has been able to bag a contract, which is worth $212.5 million. The contract’s funding has been provided by the NASA, as they have been trying to develop a human transport system, which would help to reach a low Earth orbit system.

NASA has named the program as Dream Chaser Space System. Mark Sirangelo, who is the corporate vice president of the Sierra Nevada Corp., said, “We want to express our appreciation to all of those that have provided great support in our efforts, including everyone within our organization and our terrific external team partners”.

He further affirmed that they are thankful to NASA, as it was the one, which showed immense confidence in them. While talking about his organization’s effort, Mark was of the view that the SNC has done varied projects and have been able to make many records.

Their hard work has helped them to get selected for the Dream Chaser Space System programme. Mark said NASA’s confidence in them has made them sure that they will be able to make the human spacecraft, which will be absolutely safe for the NASA astronauts to carry out their journey at the International Space Station.
