Finally, An End to NHS’s Tough Emergency Waiting Time; Thanks to Hard Working St

The target designed for the hospital staff of a county emergency department at Worcester or Redditch hospital was 98% in June 2010 but this year it has been relaxed to 95%. This means that the nursing staffs of these hospitals have to see and treat at least 95% of its total patients within four hours of their reaching to the department.

And after a period of 15 months, the staff in Worcestershire has achieved this target. With their hard work and day and night efforts, they have finally succeeded in hitting this target over a year’s time.

Patients were facing a tough NHS emergency waiting time which has now finally resolved with the efforts of hospital’s staff.

Diagnosis, treatment, discharge or admission for further processing; all has to be done within the specific time limit.

In total, the medical trust has deployed 12,469 people to attend the patients of A&E at either of the Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester or the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.

As compared to the last year ration, this year 10% more staff has been deployed to meet the target but along with this, there has been noticed a 10% increase in the overall attendance of the staff too.

As said by Stewart Messer, the trust’s chief operating officer, “It is a testimony to the dedication of our staff, strong clinical leadership and closer working with our community partnerships”.
