Every year, fund raising events are organized by various organizers. The fund thus raised by the participants is directed towards charities which are involved in improving the life of disabled patients. With the same pursuit, Marie Curie Cancer Charity is organizing 10k walk, in which dogs in Halifax are being asked to take part.

The dog owners of Halifax have been contacted. The walk will take place on 18th of August. Following the walk, fun activities like music, picnic would also be organized for the participants. The event would start at 6:00 pm.

The walk is due to take place at North Yorkshire’s Bolton Abbey. To get the dogs registered for the event, the dog owners would be required to pay an amount of £10. The funds raised by the event would be directed towards nurses of Marie Curie Cancer Charity.

The funds thus raised would help the nurses in providing quality care to the disabled patients. The nurses of Marie Curie Care provide care to cancer patients at their residence without charging anything. For past many years, the nurses have been bringing change and improvement in the life of disabled patients. They need financial support so that they can continue to provide care to the patients.
