In order to ensure that people living in England adopt a healthy lifestyle, a lot many health campaigns are being organized. It has been found that the maximum benefit is being seen among middle and upper class families.

The study being taken out by King's Fund health think-tank is based on the assessment of official date being retrieved from England. Though it is a matter of rejoice that the middle and upper class people have been living a healthy life, it has also been revealed that poorer people are not taking up healthy lifestyle in the same way.

David Buck, who is a senior officer at the King's Fund, as well as lead researcher of the study, was of the view that they categorized bad habits in the form of drinking, smoking, having a high calorie diet and leading a laid back life.

During the research, it was found that poor class people were five times more into taking up such habits than those who were educated. "The widening gap is due to the improvement in those at the top, and, to a lesser degree, those in the middle”, said Buck.

There is no doubt that unhealthy behavior has declined, but poor class people have the least contribution in it.
