There are millions of people belonging to upper class society with big bank balance and luxurious assets lined inside and outside their house but only a few have an equally giant heart.
Recently, when a Scottish couple was happy enough to receive the UK's biggest lottery win, they came to know about Isabel Wallis, a four-year-old girl suffering from cerebral palsy and fighting to gather adequate funds for her life-changing surgery. They immediately offered the girl child with funds required for her life saving treatment.
Colin and Chris Weir from Largs, in Ayrshire, have decided to send funds from Musselburgh, to America so that the surgery could be performed on time. Till now, Isabel’s parents were trying hard to raise the money but were unable to do so, because the amount required was quite big.
After receiving the helping hand from Colin and Chris, now they hope to see their daughter running and playing on her own legs very soon. She will be able to live without a wheelchair now.
As said by her mother, Kate Horne, “I have been at breaking point trying to look after Isabel, but the generosity of everyone around us has always kept me going. Receiving the donation from the Weirs was overwhelming, words cannot describe it”.
