Hong Kong People Live Longest, says Tokyo and Hong Kong Survey

The title of longest-living people in world goes to Hong Kong. It is not the first time when the country has won the title, as it has been bagging for more than 10 years now. The figures were revealed during a census report being taken out by the governments of Tokyo and Hong Kong.

One more thing that has been revealed in the report was that for the first time, women from southern Chinese city have been living longer than Japanese women.

The data has revealed that on an average, women from Hong Kong have been living 86.7 years, but Japanese women are not living more than 85.9 years. Reason for the same is thought to be earthquake and tsunami, which hit the country in 2011.

After coming across the figure, a lot of questions were being raised in the minds of people about the secret behind the long life of Hong Kong people. There is not one, but a pack of many features, which add years to Hong Kong people.

Some of the factors are an easy access of modern facilities, busy lives, healthy traditional food known as Cantonese cuisine, custom of enjoying evening and leisure time while playing mahjong, a Chinese tile game.
