All medical companies that have been since long providing disabled people with up-to-date prosthetics and aids are teaming up at London’s British Business Embassy today.
They have assembled to declare of the new projects and proposals included in the UK assistive medical industry. The meeting has been reported to have taken place while Paralympic Games were being carried out.
It is being expected that the new initiatives discussed in the global summit will bring out more changes in the lives of these special people, with firms expanding and advancing their capabilities to a higher level and collaborating with innovative prosthetic limbs, specialist all terrain wheelchairs.
Attending the summit, Universities and Science Minister David Willetts commented: “The UK’s strong commitment to research and development, low taxes for business and world class higher education have nurtured one of the world’s largest and most productive life science industries”.
Willetts asserted that the efforts put by the British assistive medical technology companies can be well seen win the transforming lives of disabled people. They have combined technology and innovation to generate products which has been a reason for the prosperity in these people’s life.
Moreover, they have been able to showcase their talent with the help of these innovations.
