Venice Film Festival witnessed the presence of Director Brian De Palma after five years and in the category of thriller almost after 20 years, but with a bang.

Brian asserted that this movie Passion is based on a murder mystery revolving around two women, one of them is a business woman, Christine, the role is played by Rachel McAdams and the other woman is Israel, played by Noomi Rapace.

Friday the movie will make its world premiere in the film festival. Brain stated that the film completely is based on women and the actresses chosen for the roles have played them very well.

While Noomi affirmed that it was fun playing the role in the film, which tried to highlight the relationship between two women, apart from friendship and the simply cute feeling.

The American film Director and Writer previously was a part of the festival in 2006 and 2007 with noir The Black Dahlia and Redacted. Last when he directed a thriller was in 1992, Raising Cain.

Apart from him, several other directors were present, including French director Olivier Assayas, who attracted the audiences with his "Apres mai" ("Something in the Air"). Nevertheless, South Korean movies, movies from US were there to try their luck and win this year's Golden Lion award at the festival.
