A famous lead actress from the Harry Potter series has been claimed to be the hazardous of all celebrities, while searching online. Cyber criminals have been reported to be using her images to attract the users and trick them to download malicious software, so that they can have an access to their personal information.
In a statement, released this Monday, McAfee asserted that it is unsafe to search for this 22-year old celebrity, as there are high chances to coming across a malicious site. They affirmed that the users are at high risk of landing in such a site.
According to McAfee, “Searching for the latest Emma Watson pictures and downloads yields more than a 12.6% chance of landing on a website that has tested positive for online threats, such as spyware”.
The Intel-run technology company has commissioned this study for sixth time in a row. Last year, Heidi Klum was proposed to be at unsafe celebrity for internet users. The company warns that cyber criminals use these female celebrities majorly. However, once even late-night host Jimmy Kimmel was amongst the top 20 famous celebrities list. Apart from Emma Watson, Jessica Biel has been claimed to be the second most dangerous celebrity.
