Aditya’s demise is an irrevocable loss to not only his own city and state but to the entire country. He was known to be the shortest body builder all over the world and his name was enlisted in the Limca Book of Records at a pretty young age.

Wednesday night, following a brain hemorrhage, Aditya the 'Romeo' Dev from Punjab passed away at the age of 23. His cremation was done last evening.

His height was just 2 feet, 9 inches and he weighed 9 kgs, but despite of this, he created a world record of lifting 3kg dumbbells and performing 6 kg bench press.

He was honored with a national and international appreciation for showing such a strong spirit. Ranjit Pabla was his trainer. He himself was known as one of the “registered identity” in the Guinness Book of World Records. All across the world, no one could ever beat him in the rope skipping as he is the best. For him too, Aditya’s death was a shock. He claimed, "Romeo became the cynosure of all eyes and won accolades wherever he went for his performance.”

Blessed with a well-proportioned body, 15 inches head circumference and 20 inches chest measurement, Aditya was even nominated for the Guinness Book of World Records in 2006 as the smallest bodybuilder of the world.
