Kweku Adoboli Breaches Bank Rules

Sothwark Crown Court has heard this morning that Kweku Adoboli, 32, had committed fraud of some £2.8billion just seeking a boost in his ego and bonuses, according to the revelations by a recent report.

It is being said that the amount is equivalent to almost 10% of his bank's share price. Not only he breached the rules limiting bankers, the report says, but he has lied to his seniors as well so that he could escape and hide his crime.

It has been found that Mr. Adoboli was a member of the team and was highly trusted as well. He not only performed a good job at his duty, but was awarded several times with large bonuses also. Since, bosses considered his work worth huge profits for the bank.

As per the findings, it is one of the largest banks for investment purposes in the whole world, which could have faced some £7.4billion costs only because of the gamble. Thus only, he is now facing a trial.

Prosecutor Sasha Wass QC was quoted as affirming, "Like most gamblers, he believed he had the magic touch. Like most gamblers, when he lost, he caused chaos and disaster to himself and all of those around him".
