Gloucester Township Police Department in association with the U. S. Drug Enforcement Administration is going to organize an event on Sept. 29. The event named as National Prescription Drug Take Back Program is to collect as many as unused and expired prescription drugs out peoples’ homes.
It has been done as a lot many incidents take place due to these pills. In order to reduce such activities, the decision to organize the event has been taken place. The event is open for all and any one come and drop pills between 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. at the Police Department.
The police have assured that no questions will be asked from people. They just have to come and drop the pills. Police official were of the view that they will be present throughout the event and people can clear nay of their queries with them.
In addition, another matter in regard to drugs came forth. It has been found that Walgreens have been accused by the DEA for putting the lives of people at risk. The DEA has ordered that the company will no more supply controlled drugs to them.
On the other hand, Walgreens have said they adopt quite a strict approach when it comes to monitoring the controlled substance medicines.
