In order to protect US ports from terrorist attacks and supply of weapons, robotic tuna fish is under making. The robotic fish is said to be made with such tactics that it will be able to overcome all problems, which are being witnessed by normal underwater robots.

The robotic fish known as the BIOSwimmer robofish is having some really smart features like it’s able to swim like normal fish. Moreover, it will be powered with vertical and horizontal thrusters.

Program director David Taylor from the Department of Homeland Security was of the view that the robotic fish, which is being made for the government, will be able to provide a clear overview under water.

While explaining the importance of the same, he was of the view that such accuracy is the need of the hour. He said special sensors being fitted in the robot will let know to investigate that whether or not the ship cavities have contraband.

With advancement in time, it seems that a lot many new things have come and one the greats examples of the same is the development of BIOSwimmer robofish. In its true terms, it is the new generation robot, which has been made exactly the way a tuna fish is.
