You may be fond of those chips that are partly cooked and take no time to get served. However, a reason has been revealed for which you need to refrain from these fries.
As per a recent US research, it has been revealed that the chips are probable cause of cancer, as they contain carcinogenic chemicals. Explaining the reason of the same, researchers from the American Chemical Association said that these fries are partly cooked.
This means that they are cooked from the outer core, but are raw from inside. This partly cooked makes them hit among people, as it does not take much time to get cooked and are crispy and tasty. The alarming factor is the procedure through which it is being made raises the inclusion of acrylamide, a human carcinogen.
The study, published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, has revealed that the carcinogen can be found in many products and especially in potatoes.
The report being prepared by the study researchers read, “To minimize the quantities of acrylamide in cooked fries, it is important to understand the impact of each stage on the formation of acrylamide”. It is expected that people will remain cautious about the above mentioned point.
