Recently, a research was taken out by a group of researchers from George Washington University. The study revealed that a product known as Propecia, which is meant to re-grow hair, has a number of side-effects.

The study, which has been published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, has found that the medicine affects the sexual life of a person. Study researcher Dr. Michael Irwig was of the view that they have gone through the data of many years.

After going through the same, they have found many men complaining of impotence, erectile dysfunction, infertility and testicular pain. Many men have even said that they have stopped taking the drug, but then also they continue to witness side effects.

"This is the first trial to show the medication can cause persistent sexual side-effects and the risk needs to be known when men are contemplating taking the medication”, said Irwig.
