Most of us get irritated attending Robocalls at some period of time. These specially developed calls to sell products or inform of certain services, include an automated message that is delivered via a phone call.
Majority of the people cut the call even before the message is over. Similar is the case of Federal Trade Commission, which is actually so infuriated with these calls that it is ready to pay $50,000 to any individual or a team comprising of 10 or less people, who helps it to get free from such calls.
The commission has launched FTC Robocall Challenge, that commences from October 25, where participants have been invited to come up with different ideas and methods to help it get rid of Robocalls on both cellphones and landlines.
Further, FTC has drafted specific criteria, based upon which the participants will be judged. They have clarified that preference will be given to those that provide solution for blocking both landline Robocalls, as well as those on mobile phones.
Further, the judges will be taking into consideration other aspects, which include the simplicity of the technique and whether or not, the latest technology will support it and will it be feasible for the customers to use and whether challenged people can use it.
