OWC Solution to Overcome Storage Capacity Problem in Retina Macbook Pro

Other World Computing has unveiled its Aura Pro SSD drive for recently launched Apple's Retina MacBook Pro. It has been reported that this is the first SSD drive to have been launched by OWC.

But mind it this 480GB high-performance SSD is not for soft-hearted users, it is for those, who love to explore and find it adventurous in fiddling with things and cracking them open to explore more.

The company is yet to announce the additional storage, which is being expected to be by the next month.

Apple has launched the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro with storage capacity of 128GB, which is actually a limitation, as many users would not be satisfied with this much of space.

But for those users, here's a solution provided by OWC, this new solid state drive, which will not only serve the purpose of storage device but at the same time is cost-effective. The company claims that the buys will be able to save almost $220 over 512GB drives.

Moreover, many reviews regarding the product suggest that it has a speed of approximately 500MB/s., in comparison to other drives, which manage to reach up till 460MB/s.

It has been reported that OWC will be launching this product in market by December.
