Firefighters Willingly Largely Supporting ‘Movember’

Movember has entered its ninth year this year and people are being seen whole-heartedly participating in the campaign as they really want to help men get out of men's common health problems, a recent report says.

Rio Rancho firefighters have dropped their razors, since they seek to grow moustaches and beards as the fundraiser aims at. Also, they later would get the same removed so that money could be raised for men suffering from different potentially fatal conditions, including prostate cancer.

It is being said that not only `mo bros', but `mo sistas' can equally participate in the campaign that solely aims at removing men's varied health problems. Mo is used commonly during November or `Movember' for moustaches, the report has found in the meanwhile.

The organizers say that sporting spectacular facial hair makes the people or the firefighters walking and talking billboards. It has been found that people are so determined that the ones who already had `mos' have got them shaven and are growing their moustaches all over again.

"As their mustaches and beards grow, firefighters collect donations for their spectacular facial creations, with proceeds going to the LIVESTRONG Foundation and the Prostate Cancer Foundation", said Fire Department Deputy Chief Paul Bearce.
