The NHS and local councils are trying their best to protect maximum vulnerable patients especially after the shocking abuse that was exposed at Winterbourne View care home last year for which they will be taking pledge next week to stop the dumping of the thousands of vulnerable patients in hospitals like Winterbourne View.
The concern for vulnerable patients rose higher when an undercover footage from the private institution showcased the scandal in the institution where patients were not only being assaulted but they were also being forcefully restrained.
Of course, the officials have taken action in the regard following which six care workers have been jailed since then but NHS and councils are now making sure that no such incidence occurs again and so have the ministers decided to launch an inquiry next week during which, the care organizations will be signing a charter requesting to protect the rights of those living with learning disabilities and autism.
A copy of the above findings has also been obtained by the Daily Mail. It has revealed that the Department of Health is urging immediate action upon the issue to see the effects within 18 months with a significant reduction in the number of people, who are being housed in Winterbourne View-style hospitals.
