Burning of Fossil Fuels and Climatic Changes Lead to Destruction

Climate changes have been feared so far as global warming is on continuous rise and is probably leading to much devastation. Also, concerns are high since it is real and moreover, it is man-made, which is in turn destroying man only.

It is a fact that natural gas combustion along with burning of oil and coal results in carbon dioxide and the emissions have expanded up to billions of tons per year. The National Academy of Sciences (NAS) had in 2006 declared that global warming has the potential to bring catastrophic devastation.

The scenario is getting more concerning with time. It seems to scientists that there is high need to take a combined international effort on an immediate basis so that the destructions could be avoided or atleast their impact could be minimized.

The United States in 2011-12 alone has faced a blizzard from the Midwest to the Atlantic, with two cold fronts and a massive flood. It also came across frying heat wave from Rockies to the East Coast and lately the Hurricane Sandy.

All these are most probably a consequence of the changing weather and everyone needs to take care that if fossil fuels are further burnt at high rates, more floods, droughts or storms or high oceanic levels would be no stranger a thing.
