Samsung Launches Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus In India

Samsung, the Korean IT giant, has inaudibly refreshed its blossoming portfolio of tablet line-up in the Indian market which, apart from being one of the top IT markets in the world, has forever proved fairly friendly and successful for the Korean IT major.

The Korean giant is now all in readiness to make the latest buzz in the Indian market with the roll out of its newest offspring in the tab franchisee, a 7-inch Android-based Honeycomb tablet, dubbed Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, aka GT-P6200.

The tablet, which scales 193.65 x 122.37 x 9.96mm and weighs no more than 345 grams, will be power packed with 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, the latest in trend. On top of that, it will be featuring a momentous and outshining inventory of specs and accessories along with various revolutionary updates and upgrades to its elder siblings.

The tablet will be featuring a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen (wherein two sheets are glued by using a capacitive material) having 1024x600 pixels resolution, 2 MP front facing shooter, 1GB of RAM along with 16GB storage on board that can be expanded up to 32GB by the means of standard microSD card. Well, that's nothing novel, so to speak.

In addition, it will be featuring a sharp 3 MP camera capable of recording at 720p.

For making sure you are always connected on the go, connectivity, the tablet from Samsung will be supporting Wi-Fi, accelerometer, EDGE, GPS, gyroscopic sensor as well as 3G.

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 will also showcase features like Samsung's novel TouchWiz user interface and will comes along with famous Samsung apps such as Music Hub, Readers Hub and Social Hub. The tablet's battery, as per Samsung, will last up to 20 hours in talktime while up to 41 hours in standby mode. It is likely to cost around Rs 26,499.
