Britain Warns About Severe Consequences of Environment Change

On Friday, the editorial of the Wall Street Journal published an article showing the flaws of the arguments held over the climate science from time immemorial. The article was supported by 16 scientists.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Britain announced about the expected threat over the production of the food amidst the environment change. Britain made the announcement after conducting a huge study over the environmental changes. It has been informed that for the study, an investment of 2.8 million pound was made.

It has been reported that if nothing is done to safeguard the environment then about 5,900 people would succumb to death. Increase in the death rates would result from severity of the summer. However, in winters, a reduction in the death rates would be witnessed.

During the study, it was found that the businesses and the infrastructure would be impacted worst by the environment changes. By 2050, it is believed that 27 million to 59 million people of Britain would be facing problem of water shortage.

It has been warned that the historic coastlines and the beaches would be reshaped because of the coastal erosion. In the coming time, the employers would experience reduced productivity because of the hot working environment. Moreover, it is believed that the cost of electricity or energy would also increased manifolds. Decreased productivity and increased expenditure no doubt will affect the working of any business terribly.

The findings of the study have been presented in the form of the report, which says, `”Potential climate risks in other parts of the world are thought to be much greater than those directly affecting the UK, but could have a significant indirect impact here ... on global health, political stability and international supply chains”.
