Samuel L. Jackson Followed Racism While Voting for Obama

Actor Samuel L. Jackson’s recent interview for Ebony magazine's March issue could disturb thoughts of many as the personality has openly admitted of following racism while supporting Barack Obama in the year 2008.

Recently, the Oscar-nominated screen legend was being interviewed for upcoming Ebony magazine's March issue, during which, the acting legend was asked about Mr. Obama’s chances of re-election. Answering the same, he said that he decided to vote for Mr. Obama during the elections because he was black and there was no other political belief behind his voting decision.

“I voted for Barack because he was black 'Cuz that’s why other folks vote for other people — because they look like them. That’s American politics, pure and simple. [Obama’s] message didn’t mean **** to me. In the end, he’s a politician”, Mr. Jackson told.

Also, it was noted during the interview that Mr. Jackson continuously used the N-word while talking about Mr. Obama's chances of re-election. But later, the acting legend defended his use of the charged racial epithet and said that he used the word because he learnt it at his home since his growing age.

Reports over another interview of Mr. Jackson with Newsweek were also published in January this year. During that interview, the actor didn’t highlight anything specifically regarding Mr. President as he said that he has mixed feelings about Mr. President’s performances till date.

According to the reports, during Mr. Obama's Inaugural ceremony in the year 2008, Mr. Jackson was also boldly present among many rallying celebrities, who were supporting the black politician. Mr. Jackson even skipped an Oscar award ceremony to campaign for the candidate, confirm reports.
