Romney Trying To Woo Voters

Romney Trying To Woo Voters

As per recent reports, it has been revealed that Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney is trying hard to win votes in Michigan, a place where he has spent his boyhood. However, critics joked that it was too late for Romney to remember that Michigan was his birth place.

It would have been better to realize it when the state was passing from certain difficulties. Romney is doing his campaigning for the elections in which he is not missing to show that he loves Michigan and all the people who live in the state.

There is no doubt that Romney was born in Michigan, and his father was renowned governor of the state. But, things have changed a lot since then and Romney no more has acted as a Michigander in those years. He might be taking people as foolish, but such is not the case as they have seen Romney’s contribution for the development of the state.

He cannot expect to win just on the basis that once upon a time he used to live in Michigan and his father was a prominent governor from 1963 to 1969. Majority of the Michigan population has even forgotten about his father so leave aside voting him on that basis.

One of the Michigan residents told that they will give their vote to a candidate who has worked hard not only for the state but also for the nation. People who might know Romney’s father might be somewhere between 60 and 70.

Their involvement in the state affairs is not much and youngsters and middle aged people prefer voting those who have worked hard for the state and the country. It seems Romney knows about his political future, but is trying to win as many votes as he can.
