As per recent reports, it has been revealed that the Walsall-based HomeServe employees might have been more and more inclined towards taking calls or unblocking drains, but in excess of 40 workers discovered themselves swaying and shimmying during the course of a Marie Curie Daffodil Dance.
The employees were seen taking part in an alluring open-air Zumba burlesque for the purpose of raising funds on account Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Participants, during the course of the event, successfully raised in excess of £500, thereby making payments for the allowance of skipping their lunch intervals on the 2nd of March and later they were part of Zumba paces which went on for an hour. The Daffodil Dance is merely an activity meant for fundraising which will be organized by HomeServe, an emergency repair service, for the sake of supporting the Great Daffodil Appeal of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Throughout March, Marie Curie is asking people to buy a daffodil pin to help provide more free care to patients with terminal illnesses in their own homes. During the year that went by, the efforts of HomeServe for supporting the Great Daffodil Appeal in raising in excess of £4,000.
While expressing his opinion in this regard, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HomeServe, Jonathan King, claimed: “March is a big month for Marie Curie. We're delighted to do all we can to support their efforts”. HomeServe has apparently decided to make donations of £1mn by March next year, which is reportedly made up of a massive £500,000 in cash along with £500,000 on account of covers for free home emergency services for patients as well as for their carers.
