As per recent reports, it has been revealed that Middlewich and Winsford are in great and burning need of volunteers for the sake of providing imperative assistance to the Great Daffodil appeal of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Volunteers are urgently required all over the region for the purpose of collecting donation boxes of the charity during the month of April, and they will later be responsible for counting and banking the funds raised by the process when the appeal reaches its climax.

Boxes, as per officials in the know, will be available in Middlewich at Wheelock Street’s Fashionista, Kinderton Street’s Boars Head and St Ann’s Walk’s Middlewich Leisure Centre. On the other hand, boxes in Winsford will be made available at Rilshaw Lane’s Barnstormers, Ribble Place’s Nun House Veterinary Clinic as well as at the Cutting Room Woodford Lane.

The significant occasion is focused on raising in excess of £25,000 on a yearly basis for the sake of providing assistance in terms of nursing care to people suffering from cancer all over the Cheshire and North Staffordshire region.

While expressing her opinion in this regard, along with mentioning what all positives can be added to the event if volunteers join in the nick of time, fundraiser Holly Smith claimed that the role is entirely bendable to get in shape around a large number of your other commitments being worked upon by the charity and is also an extraordinary manner of getting engaged in community work for supporting a noble cause.

Some comments were also heard from the Corporate Development Manager of Marie Curie Cancer Care, Brian Curran, who said: “The Great Daffodil Appeal is our biggest fundraising campaign and takes place each March. The
2011 appeal was a massive success and we raised a staggering £5.7 million”.
