HTC One Mini Launched by the Company

"HTC One mini" handset has been uncovered by the company. Besides, it has also announced a launch of a compact version of its flagship smartphone. It can be expected to be launched in August.

Shedding light on the features of the model, Nicole Peng, an analyst with research firm Canalys has said, "The HTC One is one of the most successful products the company had in its history. And having a more affordable version of this product will help getting it to more consumers who are fond of the design of the HTC One".

It possesses the same design as that of the HTC One. However, it has lower hardware specs. It has a miniature 4.3-inch display, and also a screen resolution of 720p instead of 1080p. It has been said that the processor of the phone is very slow. Rather than the quad-core 1.7 GHz chip of HTC One, it has a dual-core 1.4 GHz processor.

It received positive reviews with HTC One. But everything has not been great with the Taiwanese smartphone. It has grappled with its earnings. HTC's net profit touched 83% year-over-year.

According to Nicole Peng, an analyst with research firm Canalys, HTC has been one of the most successful products the company has launched in its history.
