Apps Developed for Volunteers by Red Cross

American Red Cross has offered a novel method to enhance efficiency of the volunteers. They have been given a technology to stay connected to the community. In order to help them to know what the community wants and to be present when needed they have been offered with an app.

Red Cross developed The Team Red Cross App. It is defined as a smartphone application that helps the users to provide opportunities for their community. This has been unveiled by the Red Cross spokeswoman Lauren Ashley. She said that the app is a way to find different methods of helping the Red Cross.

It has been said to be available on Friday. According to the reports, the app can be downloaded on both Apple Inc. and Android devices. All those who are interested to download the app can create an account. After doing the same, the Red Cross can inform them about the volunteer opportunities.

Ashley continued to say that the notifications would be regularly made available to the volunteers. They would be offered an option of accept or decline. The users would not have to open the notifications. The notifications would themselves pop up and inform the individual, said Ashley. According to her, the app would acclimatize the volunteers to Red Cross.
