Production of Biofuel Could Reduce Risk of Global Warming, Say Researchers

The new reports states that researchers have found method to increase algal production. They believe that this will help world in getting rid out of use of fossil fuels. Burning of coal, leads to the emission of carbon dioxide, causing harm to the natural environment of the country.

Scientists are trying their best to free this world from the use of fossil fuels. This research has been reported by Scripps Institute of Oceanography. You must have heard of `Lipids', which are fat molecules that stores energy in the form of fuels.

Scientists said that issue of production of lipid oil hinders the growth of achieving efficient algal biofuel. Scientists said that they tried to find out the ways to increase the micro algal lipids through the use of engineering science.

One of the techniques used by them was to apply lipid biosynthesis or carbohydrate biosynthesis. Scientists said that all of their techniques were unsuccessful and did not favor for the production of algal biofuel.

Later on, one of the scientists found out the way and decided to break lipids, which they believe could increase the lipid accumulation. Scientists predict that this could be possible without affecting growth of the algae.
