‘Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition’ on PS4 and Xbox One

Since its release in 2013, Tomb Raider has garnered admiration of many video game lovers across the globe. But Square Enix realized the requirement of the new Lara Croft with the next-gen treatment. Tomb Raider is now available on the PS4 and Xbox One.

The game is titled as 'Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. The game is displaying high standard this time. It does not seem to be a difficult task now to hit 60 frames-per-second benchmark.

TressFX technology has been a great help for Crystal Dynamics to improve the lush, vibrant world to look real. Reaction of foliage to the wind and Lara's movements looks appropriate. There are dazzling light effects, and blood, mud and sweat on characters appear to be outstanding.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is available for the full retail price of $59.99. It may not sound very enticing to those who have already played the game on last-gen consoles and PC in 2013 as it was a more beautiful version of the game. But it could still be exciting for those who could not play the first time and who are desperate to play something on the brand-new consoles.

Developer Crystal Dyanmics has given the game higher-resolution textures and Lara has a new character model this time. Moreover, there is a gamut of features like voice-operation through Kinect and the PlayStation camera.
